Does the school board understand that the Constitution was taught in the schools until 1928? Now look and see where we are without knowledge. Knowledge is power and the student used that knowledge to challenge the teacher. Maybe the teach should go back to the drawing board and re-fresh her history and the countless of men and women who have died and are still serving in foreign countries for the right of FREEDOM OF SPEECH, FREEDOM OF RELIGION, FREEDOM OF THE PRESS, FREEDOM TO ASSEMBLE, FREEDOM TO REDRESS GOVERNMENT "OUR FIRST AMENDMENT"
Dyer County School System, at one time was the greatest in Tennessee, however , it has become something much less.
It takes schools like the Dyer County School District to take away our freedoms starting with the children.
I am disappointed that the DyerCounty School District does not follow the United States of America's Constitution and the Bill of Rights for each of their students. In fact I would like to personally like to say "God Bless You" to any student who stands up for their rights, in a free country.
