I was the last customer so I told them to not start a whole urn of coffee. Had unsweet tea. Going back to try their local roaster coffee.
Chef came out twice to check on me.
Had the roasted pork loin with a side of sweet potatoes. The flavor was excellent (with exception of an under-ripe tomato end in the sandwich). I did come in for the brisket but they ran out at lunch. The house coffee was tasty as well.
Everything about the bus stop restaurant was amazing. The young men that worked there were engaging,courteous and polite. The restaurant was clean as a pin, and the food was outstanding! My son and I both had the coffee rubbed brisket sandwich , trust me on this, it is not some boring half hearted run of the mill deli sandwich. This sandwich is fresh and delicious mad to order and the side dishes are just as inviting. I drove an hour and twenty minutes and it was well worth it, I will be back.
Pork loin sandwich was good, fancy stuff on it. Temp out of beef brisket. Chips, or other sides extra.
Coffee rubbed brisket is awesome. It is nice to go to a place that doesn't just prepare the same old food. This place CREATES good food. The slaw is excellent as well.
